‘Digital Sexual Extortion’ is a form of Child Online Exploitation. It involves threatening to publish sexual information, photos, or videos about someone to get money from them. Criminals often target young people through dating apps and social media.
Digital Sexual Extortion is the most prevalent form of intimate image abuse in the UK and it is vital for young people to be educated about the warning signs and how to avoid becoming a victim.
In this webinar, we shared what Digital Sexual Extortion (Sexploitation) is, listened to a police case study, discussed warning signs, and all attendees received a free sexploitation lessons.
