Life Lessons is an award-winning, impact driven education organisation which supports teachers to deliver outstanding relationships, sex and health education. 

We do this to help young people make good decisions, be healthy and navigate the emotional and social complexities of life.

Since we launched in 2021, we now support hundreds of schools all across the UK and have delivered training and support to over 4000 teachers. We have a growing and multi-skilled team and advisory board.  

About the Role:

In this position, you’ll be responsible for driving sales of our engaging Life Lessons programme to new schools across the UK. You’ll develop strong relationships with school leaders and local authorities, acting as a trusted advisor and showcasing how Life Lessons can benefit their students. 

  • £40,000 base salary £56,000 OTE
  • Remotely based with travel to schools across the UK
  • Permanent 

Closing date: We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis and the final deadline for submission is the 9th August 2024. 

Responsibilities:

  • Co-plan and deliver on sales strategies in order to build new partnerships.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of schools across your designated region including onboarding and maintaining engagement ongoing.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with school principals, teachers, and local authority education teams.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and workshops, effectively communicating the value proposition of the Life Lessons programme.
  • Identify and qualify sales leads through targeted outreach and networking activities.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with schools, ensuring successful programme implementation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of local education needs and curriculum requirements.
  • Put together proposals for multi-school partnerships, based on a sensitive understanding of partner needs. 
  • Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of Life Lessons.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on all sales activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Preferable: Experience in a sales role, ideally within the education sector.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals.
  • Persistent and motivated to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities and a genuine passion for education.
  • Positive and proactive in your approach 
  • An understanding of the UK education landscape.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • The ability to travel throughout your designated region (locations to be confirmed).
