This 30-minute webinar will give you, as someone responsible for or involved in inclusion strategy:

• A practical guide to using PSHE to support meaningful teaching around protected characteristics
• Strategies for creating safe, inclusive spaces where pupils can explore difference, identity and belonging
• Practical advice for building teacher confidence when facilitating sensitive or challenging discussions

Protected characteristics are central to an inclusive school culture, but teaching them well can feel challenging. In this session, we’ll explore how PSHE and protected characteristics can be understood through an inclusion strategy lens.

We’ll also explore the Life Lessons inclusion framework and share practical ways to build teacher confidence, create safe discussion spaces and respond effectively to what comes up in the classroom.
