East Midlands Countering Extreme Views

March 20 @ 13:30 - 17:00

We know, from listening to our partner schools, that teachers across the East Midlands are dealing with problems of bigotry, mental health and unhealthy relationships.

Therefore, we have decided to host events to facilitate professional development and create a community of like-minded leaders to work together in the East Midlands. This is a great opportunity to share best practice, network and support other PSHE leaders.

Date: March 20th at 1.30pm
Location: Thomas Estley Community College, Leicester, LE9 6PT

We will connect, share best practice and hear from:

  • Mandi Collins, Headteacher of Thomas Estley College in Leicester
  • Paul Rhodes, Assistant Principal at Uppingham Community College
  • Adam Marriott, PSHE and RE Trust lead at Brooke Weston Trust
  • Betsy Milne, PhD Candidate, University College London, Gender and Sexuality Studies, presenting on the root causes of misogyny and harmful behaviour
  • Nicole Rodden, co-founder of Life Lessons share a case study of best practice for
    tackling harmful behaviour.

Fill in the form to RSVP now. Please share with your network and bring any questions you may have.
